We are happy to announce that Yolanda Uriz Elizalde, winner of the NASEVO 2022 scholarship, has been selected to attend, along with 5 other artists, to the Ars Electrónica 2022, a festival focused on Art, Technology and Society.
Yolanda´s will introduce her piece, “Chemical Ecosystem”, a self-regulating mechanism with sensors that measure the state of the air and, according to its results, emit certain odors and sounds. We are talking about an interactive work of art, which interacts with the ecosystem and the environment that surrounds it.
These artists combine the collaborative practices that characterize Catalan innovation to generate proposals that lead to the creation of projects that help create a more sustainable world. In collaboration with the Institut Ramon Llull, the NewArt Foundation and Hac Te, these artists present us different ways of linking creativity with Art hand in hand with Science and Technology.
This initiative is especially emotional for us since the 6 works selected for this exhibition are the result of previous editions of the Ars Electrónica, the Scholarship programs organized by ISEA 2022 Barcelona, the NewArt Foundation and research projects developed by Hac Te, the new space in Barcelona where Art, Science and Technology are related.
If you have the opportunity, be sure to visit the exhibition in Kepler´s Gardens at JKU Campus in Linz, Austria.
