The mission of the Fundación Ernesto Ventós is entirely dedicated to furthering the great commitment of its founder: to draw attention to the importance of the sense of smell and teach us how to smell through art. That’s why the foundation seeks not only to help us all to appreciate more fully the significance of this sense in our lives but also to affirm its importance as a source of creative inspiration.

Marta de los Pájaros
III Nasevo International Prize Winner
The NASEVO Prize would not be possible without the support of various institutions in forming the competition jury and in welcoming us to show in their exhibition spaces: LAB36 (born of an idea of creating an experimental space whose key values are risk.taking, experimentation, breaking with established canons, and integration that is respectful of diversity), Casa Vicens (the first house designed by the architect Antoni Gaudí, between 1883 and 1885, in the Gràcia district of Barcelona, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2005), Espai Casinet (the exhibition space of Masnou Town Council which hosts a stable visual arts programme that combines the proposals of artists linked to the municipality with the most outstanding projects of the Catalan artistic circuit as a whole), and Fundació Setba (a non-profit cultural foundation which works to assist in the transformation of society through art).
